Social Action and Missions Committee Visits  Cleveland
Representatives of the Potomac Association's Social Action and Missions Committee, as well as members of the Potomac Association board, the board of Shaw Community Ministries and local church representatives traveled to Cleveland over the Veteran's Day holiday weekend to learn more about the operations of the national church and to meet with national staff members. Participants were given a tour of Church House, joined in worship with the board of directors of Wider Church Ministries and met with Edie Rasell and Barbara Bailor of Justice and Witness Ministries, and J. Bennett Guess, editor of UCC News. Visitors came away with program ideas and renewed inspiration for their work.

Potomac Association Spring Meeting
The next meeting of the Potomac Association will be held in spring of 2006. Further details will be provided here as they become available.
