Association Spring Meeting 2010
Delegates and Authorized Ministers are called to the semi-annual gathering of the Potomac Association.  We will gather at Amistad-St. Paul UCC-Lanham, MD, on Saturday, May 1, 2010 with Registration opening at 8:30.

The Spring Meeting is our annual business meeting, reporting on the strength of our ministry together.  Of special note for this year's meeting is a report on the work towards realizing the General Synod Resolution, "Toward Unified Governance for the National Setting of the United Church of Christ (09-GS-36)". The text of the Resolution can be found by following this link.  More information will be distributed prior to the meeting.

Ecclesiastical Council 2/27/2010
We celebrate with Karen Byrne, Kristen Curlee and Mary Barrino-Smith on their authorization for Ordination.  We also celebrate with our two newest local churches in the Association--United Christian Church-Lexington Park, MD; and Covenant Baptist Church-Washington, DC.

Our Ministries
The mission of the Potomac Association is to be an active ministry presence in the District of Columbia, Northern and Eastern Virginia, and South and Southeast Maryland.  We are an active presence through our Committees and Working Groups to resource the 33 local churches in the Association.
