During the annual meeting there will be an opportunity for all to decorate a tent square, which will be joined together with other squares into a tent and sent to Sudan. The meeting will be held on Saturday, October 25 from 9am to 2pm at Rockville United Church.

What's going on? Tents of Hope "Gathering of the Tents" on the National Mall (Interfaith Weekend of Prayer and Action for Darfur)
When's it happening? Saturday, November 8, 2008 and Sunday, November 9, 2008
What'll we be doing? Saturday 1:00 Arrive at the National Mall and gather at the PA Tent (the event Check-In Tent is located between 4th and 5th Sts.) Check out the programs and displays with friends from the Association or break off with your local church 4:30 Share in the Lighting of the Tents 5:30 Gather for Dinner at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation (212 E. Capitol St. NE, Washington, DC 20003) 6:30 Head home for the day or stay for the Benefit Concert
Sunday 10:00 Gather at the Synagogue at 6th and I Sts. for the Interfaith Worship 12:00 Travel to the National Mall for the Tents of Hope Rally Depart with your local church on your own timetable. Events officially close at 4:00.
What should I do if I want to come? If your church is participating please click here to send an email to the PA Tents of Hope group. Please include your Group Chaperone's cell phone number. We'll coordinate a complete list, and send it out to those who will be on the Mall.
