Older Adult Ministries

As the aging population in our churches and society increases, the diverse talents and needs of older adults become evident.  The Older Adult Ministry network seeks to provide resources and support for clergy and lay leaders in the Potomac Association to creatively enrich ministry by, for and with older adults.  We are dedicated to serving older adults in our congregations by intentionally affirming the gifts of aging, supporting the faith journey in later life, and fostering intergenerational relationships through storytelling and service.

What does Older Adult Ministry look like in your church?
Is it creative?
Is it nurturing continued spiritual growth?
Is it intergenerational?
Does it honor those who can no longer “DO”?
Are you offering practical resources on aging?
